Richard Francés
Richard Francés is an audiovisual artist whose work explores accident and degradation by setting up devices and installation at the intersection of droop and change, control and letting go.
As a musician and producer he has collaborated with the collective (LA) HORDE on the creations "Novaciéries" and "Night Owl", with French singer Owlle, video artists Konpyuta, minimal and ambient band Pointe du Lac, on free electronics duo JUJU or the French director Mathieu Lis.
He is the founder and director of electronic experimental music label Hylé Tapes.
After several creations under the name of Acid Fountain, combining dance music and sound experiments on labels like The Tapeworm, Søvn Records, Phinery, SEAGRAVE or Hylé Tapes, he finally dissociated his most minimalist and experimental works (Richard Francés) from his more rhythmic creations (Acid Fountain). His first adventure is called "01112012", edited in limited edition on the American label Jungle Gym Records. Seven minimalist sound pieces of contemplation and deep meditation.

A meditative immersion showed at Café Oto in June 2017 in support of The Wire magazine, for their 35 years anniversary. Next performances will bring him to David d'Angers Gallery, La Maroquinerie in Paris, with the producer, composer, and visual artist from Seattle Stephan O'Malley, or the Australian composer, artist and curator Lawrence English at Le Bourg in Lausanne.
