An unaldurated mix of gritty garagerock, surfy-postpunk driven songs and 60’s beat, wrapped in catchy songs and a tight show full of energy, mad stage antics and unpredictable foolishness. Magnetic Spacemen provides the perfect moment to surrender to after those useless and long, long days and makes you longing for a full pounding crowd.
Magnetic Spacemen already released two EP’s and an album, but after a change in band formation, a new record label and their best work to date ‘Papoya Poya’ might feel like THE start of this fast-moving garage rock train.
The album was recorded in a vacant club in The Hague just at the start of the first lockdown in March 2020. Every track was recorded on analogue tape by bass player Redmer Kamsma. The tensed atmosphere about the pandemic, the fear, the feeling of being illegal by just hanging around, carelessness and uncertainties about the future give the record an extra urgent kick in the butt after.

Magnetic Spacemen is a charismatic live-act with a guaranteed enormous amount of energy. They already proved this by providing the supports for FIDLAR in Amsterdam and Berlin and during two(!) UK tours with VANT.
